The brothel owner said if I don’t work, she’ll kill me and if I don’t do the business, she’ll sell me. They beat me with sticks. If I refused, they would’nt give me any food.
-Guddi (A young prostitute at Indian brothel)
Biggest Brothel in India:
India is ranked to be the number 1 country that is dangerous for women. Rape of women and beheading them is very common. It is not that India has some specific drawback or people over there are rotten. We all have such people, who are the true definition of “terrorists” in our own society and states. Maybe in a small amount than that in India, but we do have. This is a time to support each other against this rather than playing that same rotten blame game that is being played by nations since forever. If India is ranked #1 for rape and street crime, we will be laughing at them making fun of their despair. We should be shameful for mocking at the helplessness and despair of any state or nation because our country might be the next one. Brothels that are being run by people in different areas are a place of horror, despair and hopelessness. Just watch the video below and think for a moment that will any girl ever want a life like this for her? Will any girl ever opt for this life of pain and merciless brutality?
Never!
Prostitution is not a job. The inside of a woman’s body is not a workplace”
Julie Bindel
We have such a horrendous attitude towards humanity that many people out there die silently just because they can’t face us due to the artificial living standards and dogma of higher expectations we have built in every society as per our beliefs and traditions. We are just shrinking the diameter of this “superficial expectation circle” around ourselves day by day due to which others are literally choking not being able to live up to those expectations and artificial beliefs. We all are constructing this boundary of higher values and social code of conduct day by day making it almost impossible for weaker members of our society including prostitutes to live and survive. They cannot live like us because we will anyhow kill their soul by addressing them as a worthless piece of barren land that is of no use to us anymore, women will be hesitant to give them jobs due to security issues, mothers will not trust them due to their dirty past. This is how we are disdaining the rights of many help seekers out there who need us. We keep opening schools for transgenders, disable and special people every day. What is the real error of prostitutes? Just because someone raped them and threw them into this dirty slum brothel? Just because a baby girl was born into the brothel from a slave prostitute and a filthy client who just fulfilled his fantasy and went away? Just because those pretty hopeless girls were trafficked and brought to this hell? Is that so?
“Where I used to live we were extremely poor. So I asked my neighbour to help me find work. She said her daughter earned $5 a week as a maid in Mumbai. That sounded a lot to us. So I said okay I’ll go. I was 11 years old then, I was really little. I was taken to the 14th lane in Kamathipura. They told me I’m here to have sex with men. I refused, and asked to be put on the train home but they beat me severely and the woman they left me with held my hands and her daughter held my legs down and the customer forced himself down on me. For three months I was in hospital.”
-Guddi (Indian Prostitute)
There is a booming sex trade of virgins as they decrease the risk of sexually transmitted diseases. Virgin children are brought to the brothel and caged into the dark boxes told one of the prostitute rescuers. Pretty little girls are brought to such a dystopia for destroying their future and hopes. This is literally the end of humanity.
The biggest brothel in Bangladesh:
My neighbour kidnapped me. He sold me for $415. I can’t leave until that dept has been paid. In the first days, I truly suffered. Everything hurt. But slowly, I have learnt to deal with it, physically and mentally.
-Eithee (Young prostitute at Bengali Brothel)
I am a prisoner who is being watched. They are afraid I might run away and they’d lose money.
-Eithee (Young prostitute at Bengali Brothel)
People always say, “your sister’s working streets.” And they insult us. If she wanted to do something else, they’d always remind her that she used to be a prostitute.
-brother of Khushi
If one day I leave here and go back into real society, if anyone knows I am from here they will say I am not a good person.
-Khushi (Prostitute)
Do you believe in true love? -Yes, I do this job out of love, for my siblings and my mother. I’d like to have children, but that is not an option here. They’d immediately be branded. But if I was to live outside and was married, that would be good. If you’re in a relationship here, men beat the women and take their money.
-Khushi (Prostitute)
I don’t care if it kills me, as long as I can earn a living. Allah called them home. When He calls, I will go as well.
-Kaalee (Prostitute at a bengali brothel)
When I work the streets and the children are there, the clients leave. The children ask questions. They know I am doing this for them. So they’ll have food. I always tell them I’ll stop as soon as possible.
Bathakaaya (Bengali Prostitute)
My kids are born on the streets. I was desperate and couldn’t raise them. I wanted them to learn, to eat and to have a good life. I feel guilty. It’s hard. I’ve asked Allah to call me home. I took a saari. I attached it to the fan and committed suicide. The little boy came in and screamed mummy! mummy! He was pulling on the fan. Another boy came in and they cut down the sari and I fell on the bed.
-Shupee (Former Prostitute at Bangladesh Brothel)
Selling sex in the Dominican Republic:
Prostitution is most common among teens due to child abuse and maltreatment from their families. Families beat them up and throw them out of their life. Many girls have nowhere to go so they chose prostitution as a medium to earn money and support their kids. Men just come and leave, they have no idea that somewhere, a poor lady labelled as a filthy prostitute is actually the mother of his own son or daughter.
I go to ask for forgiveness because I commit a lot of sins. The job I do is a really big sin. I feel ashamed and I’m afraid of God. Prostitution, it’s a sin. But one day this will end.
-Frandi James (Prostitute at Dominican Republic)
I say I am strong because of all I’ve put up with. My grandma treated me very badly. She hit me a lot. My mother never visited nor did my father. I’d see her maybe once a year. She hit us a lot everyday.
-Frandi James (Prostitute at Dominican Republic)
I had to wait for clients to send me money to get register for school. Thank God I am studying now. And when I finish, I want to work in a call centre. So I can be an example to my son. So he doesn’t see me as I am now.
-Frandi James (Prostitute at Dominican Republic)
In the end, I would just like to ask a simple question from every mother, father, brother, sister, man, woman and husband to look at their pretty little daughter playing around them right now. How her chubby cheeks are wet with the mango juice and her tiny clothes soaked in water that she threw on her accidentally. How her tiny feet move to and fro in excitement and joy whenever she looks at you. Can you ever imagine her to be under the custody of some filthy men with a horrendous mind aka so-called clients? Can you ever think of your baby girl crying out of pain for something she never even thought about? Just imagine your mothers, sisters, wives and loved ones to be working in these filthy and rotten brothels. Just think! Think before you go to the same brothels or maybe the lavish ones for fulfilling your 30-minutes-lust.
These prostitutes are not working because they find it good for them. The never chose this fate for them. They were brought to the brothels forcefully. Harshness and brutality have reached to their limits when we look at the brothel videos on youtube, Dailymotion, Vimeo and where not. They are also someone’s daughters who are slaughtering their souls while sacrificing their bodies for drivers, mechanics, sweepers, shopkeepers, drunkards, drug addicts, taxi drivers, dung cleaners, and lower classmen. They would have also dreamed of prince charming and magical pegasus but all they got is a cruel brothel owner and dirty clients who even don’t look like human beings. They are worst than animals.
The basic purpose of this post is to extend your hands towards these deserving women and give them a ray of hope that they can also survive in this superficial society rather than rejecting and degrade them. Don’t forget that it is people like you and me, who are promoting this business come violence. We all need to put a stop to it before these strong roots of child trafficking and abuse might someday snatch away our precious gems from us. Where would we find them? Of those horrible dark virgin trap boxes, which dark box will your daughter be in? How many locks will you get opened up by those brothel owners? In which brothel will you go then to find your own baby girl?
Just think and spread awareness!
This just broke me Zarbakht. 💔

I guess this is an untouched detail in our society that we consciously avoid to talk about. Girls are shattering and so are boys. Teenager boys are also suffering this plague of prostitution. We should be more kind towards them so that they might step out of those stinky brothels, into the beautiful world we are living in. Thank you so much for leaving the comment 🙂 Keep inspiring me ♡

There has to be the check from all sides of society, foremost government with stern and strict laws against it, within communities that include spreading awareness and proper education.

Plus, my articles main theme was the protection and rights of prostitutes not a political insight regarding which country is ranked number 1 and which comes after. If my article would be based upon any political debate or insight, then yes, your points are very valid from that perspective. But here, I only talked about brothels and for sure, India, bangladesh and Thailand has eminent ammount of brothels so I took documentaries based on these two or three countries mainly.

See, there was no voice against transgender. I cant target the prostitution as a business at once. It is a staircase on which you can only proceed step by step. You know very well that our society look down upon this topic of prostitution as a taboo. 🙂 I just took the first step where the awkwardness and blaming the prostitutes could end. And yes you raised a very very valid point that why protection of prostitution, why not ending it. If we raise our voice and act as a unit, yes we can! Hope for the best and let’s do our part ♡

Plus, With india, I also mentioned a muslim country Bangladesh and also a dominican republic. Finally, I am from a society or a culture you can say where people think these topics as a taboo still now. I just wanted to break that ice. Plus, my content, https://wp.me/pa18G7-cx focuses on our thinking. That we always curse those prostitutes out there without even knowing their original stories. We always blame those prostitutes to be sinners and snatch away every basic human right from them 🙂 I didnt go deep down into a political or a democratic point of view. You, being a professional writer judged my article from a very wide aspect although the message that I wanted to impart was that we never know what is the real story behind many prostitutes so we should give them their rights and stop criticising them so that they might live a normal life as well. Stretch a hand of hope towards them as most of the prostitutes are not doing this intentionally. Sometimes, they have no other choice other than this filthy profession. Even prostitutes claims this profession to be filthy and sinful. Much love and thanks for any kind of correction ♡

Definitely one of your great blog as you highlighted deep real facts about sex trade and attrocities about women actually facing these days in various Countries Like India, Bangladesh And even US. But
you should also mention Countries like Pakistan where
the rape victim will have to prove without any reasonable doubt that she is not an adulteress in court to get a conviction. If she fails to do so she will be imprisoned, in effect for getting raped !!! .Existence of such laws prevented Pakistani women from reporting rapes for decades after independence…
LikeLiked by 1 person
Oh my God you are so so right and yes I surely will write on this topic infact I already am working on a topic that how women have to give proofs for proving themselves to be innocent rather than claiming justice specially in Pakistan and China where two finger test is still considered and specially in pakistan where witness system is considered superior to the evidences. Thankyou so so much passionate soul 🙂 ♡

Actually the main reason behind this blog was that we always blame women to be indulged in this sin by looking down upon their character. While doing the research I wanted to prove my argument with sources and evidences. Al Jazeera documentaries have the most authentic sources so far and you know India and Bangladesh have these official or underground brothels that are totally un acceptable. See, virgin girls are abducted and brought here. Those innocent souls are locked up in these dark trap doors. This is not humane at all 😦 So I wanted to highlight this issue that its not those prostitutes that are at fault because they cant even report to police. Police is also involved with brothel owners. So why do we judge the character of those prostitutes if we cant protect them? I didnt mention Pakistan here because in Pakistan there is a strict check on common people and there is no concept of such brothels and slavery. But yes, corrupt and powerful people can afford prostitutes at their homes. So this kind of cruelty is not seen in Pakistan due to which I went with the flow of documentaries and mentioned 3 states who have running brothels in them 🙂

India has 1,343,886,213+(~1.3 Billion) people and of them 649,903,372+ (649 million) are females [1] . Pakistan has ~190 million[2] total population ie. even lesser than 28 % of the number of Indian women. So India has every chance to have registered greater number of rape cases when compared to Pakistan.
India has a literacy rate of 71.2 %[3] and Pakistan has a literacy rate of 57.9 %[4] that means India has ~586 million(956846984 – 371094825) more people in India who knows their rights and who will not be afraid to register cases. So a more educated populace who know their rights and believes in women’s rights has a greater chance of registering cases,no one can deny that fact..
But even then there are problems which needs to be rectified. Instead of asking questions leading to a statistical pissing match, one must think and take steps to prevent rapes from happening in their countries. I wish the question was …
What steps can be taken by India and Pakistan or any other countries to save their girls from rape, sexual abuse and most importantly Prostitution?

Yes exactlt you are right and I mentioned this fact clearly in my post that blame game is of no use. We should always start from our own homeland, our own self infact 🙂 And yes my post has got nothing to do with statistics and which country has maximum rape and prostitutes, infact my theme was that we should let these women live by giving them their rights and raising fingers on mere their characters 🙂

Pakistan have many issues and I never targeted any country. The main theme was to highlight the rights of prostitutes. Pakistan have no brothels atleast, apparently govt yeh sab allow nai krti and sakht punishments hain like stoning to death and all. Only hamaray politicians can afford prostitutes at home. Yahan mene India, Bangladesh and dominican republic ko islye mention kia kyu k al jazeera reports men brothels ki sari details batai v hain and this is the only way k ham jesi tang soch k logon ko samajh aajae k ham jo har mard ko judge krtay k uski behan ka kirdaar ganda hai ya ham jin auraton ko itna ganda krdetay hain k unkay liye hamari society men koi jagah nai rehti wo in bhayanak brothels ko dekh k hi shayad smjh saken k yeh bechaarian apni marzi se nai aateen. Aur mene apni post k start men mention kia hai k yeh maslay sirf india ya bagladesh men nahi hain balkay har jGah hain. Lekin India men khullay aam aur pakistan men underground. Islye iss maslay ko Pakistan ki munaasibat se highlight nai kia jaa skta tha na?

Kyu k agar India and Pakistan k taaluq achay hogaye toh Army walon ko funds kese milengay bachu? 😀smjhay ab? Bass islye ham awaam pisne aur sarhnay k lye reh gaye hain aur kya. And yehi sab ham dono countries k darmyan hatred phela raha hai.

You are wrong . Army rules on pakistan and your PM, this happening in pakistan. Not in India. PM (elected by ppl) rules the army in india

You are spoiling an image of India on this platform. Off course this is real but is this happening only in India ?? Not in USA or other countries ?? We all are facing the issue, then whats point in targeting Indians a lot in blog. Anyways all have freedom of speech and expression..

I have majority of Indian followers and I love them maybe more than any other followers of mine thats why maybe? And ghalti toh ghalti se hoti hai na? Uss se kisi ka image kharab nai hota. Haan ghalti par dattay rehne se zarur hota hai. Aap dekhna Indian followers ne bht positive comments diay hain kyu k they got my point. And dominican republic toh india nai hai na? Na hi bangladesh? I mentioned them as well.
